Báal-Abaddon was the ruler of one of the pits of hell, but when summoned to the mortal realm by the demonmancer Oscar von Fairweather he finds himself in an diminutive imp-like body. In Impire the player takes on the roll of Baal as he follows Oscar's plans to conquer the world.
Spells[edit | edit source]
Baal has a selection of magic spells he is able to cast with the use of mana. Spells serve various functions, from harming enemies, to healing or teleporting allies, or even summoning minions.
|Absolution||Sacrifice a friendly unit to heal other nearby friend units.|
|Demonic Whip||Temporarily boosts the movement, attack speed, and armor of a unit.|
|Dummy||Immobilizes an enemy unit for a time.|
|Exploding Turkey||Summons a turkey which wanders the area and explodes when damage.|
|Healing Aura||Heals friendly units near target friendly unit over time.|
|Hell Rage||Inscreases the aggression of nearby friendly units over time.|
|Lightning||Damages a single enemy unit at any range.|
|Lightning Storm||Damage up to three nearby enemy units.|
|Portal||Summons a Scout or Abomination for 30 seconds.|
|Rot||Deals damage over time to nearby enemies.|
|Summon Worker||Summons a Worker.|
|Teleport||Teleports the target friendly unit or Baal to the specified location.|
|Whirlwind||Baal spins with his sword, damaging nearby enemies.|
Evolutions[edit | edit source]
As Baal gains experience in his new incarnation he gains news demonic powers in the form of evolutions that can be purchased each time Baal gains a level. Some evolutions grant passive skills, while others unlock new spells.
